Wow! Superb filming from the incomparable Terry Abraham, and good presentation from David.

David stopped at a peat hut which he says is actually called a peat scale, the meaning of which he did not know.

Watching 'Digging for Britain' on BBC4, Professor Alice Roberts visited a site with Scale in the name, which she said means 'hall' in the old Norse language. Maybe in olden times, a single-room building was given that name, no matter how big it was.

Fantastic film though, and will be watched many more times.
