WSC2019
Wainwright Society Calendar 2019

Once again The Wainwright Society has produced a calendar for 2019 utilising the photographic skills of some of their members, all of whom have provided their work free of charge.

Over the last few years sales of the Wainwright Society calendar have raised well in excess of £130,000 in cash and match funding to support causes that link with the aims and objectives of the Society. The proceeds of the 2019 calendar will be donated to the Great North Air Ambulance Service which is a charitably funded organisation that provides essential support for life-threatening incidents or potentially life-threatening incidents across Cumbria, north-east England and Yorkshire.

The calendar is large format, size A3 (297mm x 420 mm), with one page per month and also features a related sketch and quote from one of AW’s famous works.

Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk: From St Bees Head to Robin Hood's Bay Paperback by Alfred Wainwright (Author), Chris Jesty (Editor) July 2017

The first fully revised and updated edition of A. Wainwright's pocket-sized guide to the classic Coast to Coast Walk. First devised in the early 1970s, the walk has prompted countless enthusiasts to lace up their walking boots and follow Wainwright's example, and inspired TV series by Tony Robinson for Channel 5 and Julia Bradbury for BBC Four.
